Who We Are

The Canadian National Baton Twirling Association (CNBTA) is a proud member of the World Federation of National Baton Twirling Associations (WFNBTA). Operated by a passionate team of volunteers led by the Executive, CNBTA is dedicated to promoting the sport of baton twirling in Canada.

We offer competitions, events, and development seminars for athletes, coaches, and judges - always with the goal of putting athletes first. Our community fosters a fun, supportive atmosphere where twirlers can compete, grow, connect, and reach new heights.

Baton twirling has evolved far beyond parades and football fields. Today, it combines the endurance of a runner, the precision of a ballplayer, the grace of a dancer, the flexibility of a gymnast, and the determination of any elite athlete. It’s a powerful way to build fitness, confidence, and lifelong friendships.

Through these opportunities, CNBTA athletes have excelled on the international stage, proudly representing Canada at major competitions including NBTA International AYOP, Congressional Cup, and the IBTF World Championships.
